I started with the IRS in New Orleans, still figuring out where I was headed. I worked toward my CPA certificate, and then I was offered an international assignment. I loved it from day one.
That assignment shaped the next 42 years. Twenty of them were dedicated to international compliance, reviewing the returns of some of the best-known athletes and entertainers working in the United States. Along the way, I spent 14 months with KPMG in Paris preparing returns for expatriates, and saw cross-border taxation from the other side.
In 2026, I founded Miami Global Tax. After four decades, I knew I had the knowledge, the experience and the integrity to stand next to taxpayers facing international tax law and the IRS. Now I use everything I learned to help my clients get it right.
